What SudoGrimoire is

SudoGrimoire is a free collection of handbooks, PDFs and videos that explain how to install and use operating systems. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with Microsoft, Apple, Canonical, Red Hat, the Debian Project, Arch Linux or any other vendor.

Use at your own risk

Installing an operating system erases disks, and many commands change your system. Back up your files before you follow any install guide, and read what a command does before you run it. The content is provided as is, without any warranty. We are not liable for lost data, damaged systems or any other loss that comes from using it.

Accuracy

Operating systems change often. We test every step when we write it, but menus, versions and download pages can change later. If something no longer matches, tell us through the YouTube channel and we will update it.

Copying and sharing

You may read, print and share the handbooks and PDFs for personal and educational use, and link to any page. Please do not republish the content as your own or sell it. Commands and short code snippets can be used freely.

Trademarks

Operating system names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the systems the handbooks are about.

Third-party services

Videos are hosted by YouTube and play only after you click them; YouTube's terms and privacy policy apply to the video player. Downloads linked from the handbooks (installers, tools such as Rufus) come from their official sites and are covered by their own licenses.
